6.1IP, 1ER, 106-67, 4K's, 2BB

That was a tough trip. 3 time zones, 3 tough teams and 11 games in as many days is taxing. But given the situation regarding starting rotation we presented with at the start of the road trip I feel good with the team going 6-5.

Good day for us, we managed to avoid the sweep. We played well, we played clean and came out on top. My last start left somewhat of a bad taste my mouth. I threw 6 scoreless innings before Torre pulled me from the game. I had thrown 109 pitches but felt good for one more especially given the state of our then depleted bullpen. That game we ended up losing the game in the 7th. Tough loss. So, for me personally today was a good win. I was pretty happy with the way I pitched, I wasn't perfect but I was able to get outs when I really needed them. The umpire wasn't too bad tonight, I lost a few strikes but he was consistent. The main thing I'd like to improve on is the pitch count, other then that I thought it was a good game.
